Congratulations to Rongfei Zhang on his grand prize of the second Peking University industrial design competition

    On May 5th 2014, the second Peking University industrial design competition officially came to an end. Rongfei Zhang, who is PhD student of Center for Quantitative Biology (CQB) and Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, was awarded the grand prize of the second Peking University industrial design competition. His design is a novel high throughput chip that is used in diagnosis of pathogens. This new chip can detect the type of pathogen in high efficiency, and is characteristic of low cost and high precision. R. Zhang is under supervision of Prof. Chunxiong Luo of CQB. This program was supported by Microfluidic platform of CQB.
