Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence Conference

The 2018 CQB annual international conference “Quantitative Biology: Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence – Where Do We Meet” was held from July 2nd to 6th at Peking University. The conference invited 24 leading experts and scholars from the United States, Britain, France, Israel and China in the fields of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. More than 200 researchers from around the world registered and participated this conference. This conference featured pre-conference training courses, invitation talks, selected oral and poster presentations. Participants exchanged and discussed various topics focusing on the interface between neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Graduate student from Tang Lab, Shanshan Qin presented his recent work on “An information-theoretic model for odor coding”. Jiayin Hong, Shaoqi Zhu, Shanshan Qin and Wei Zhang also served as volunteers in the conference. The lab members enjoyed the close interactions with the attendees during the extradentary five-day event.
