Summer School in Sorbonne University

From July 1st to July 28th, graduate students Le Li, Yanjun Li and Huixia Ren, undergraduate students Bowen Shi and Jianglong Jia attend “Peking University - Sorbonne University Summer School”. During their stay, they visited biology, chemistry and quantitative modeling labs in Sorbonne University, where they learned about the unnatural amino acid application, rare brain tumor cell line construction based on patients, zebrafish development and the principle of MR. In the meantime, students from Sorbonne University invited them to join their summer retreat in Normandy where they discussed several academic topics such as “How to succeed in Academia” and “Women in Science”. Apart from diverse academic activities, they also enjoyed the history and culture of Pairs via visiting museums and experiencing the National Day celebration. What an experience!
