Zeng Baige has been working as a research assistant at the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Capital Medical University since graduation. In 2025, she joined the Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies at Peking University as a laboratory technician. Currently, her work primarily involves second-generation sequencing, single-cell sequencing, and the application of CRISPR/Cas in gene editing—including gene knockout, gene replacement—as well as gene activation and the construction of disease models.
