摘要:

I will discuss mechanisms of science communication with a focus on selective scientific journal editorial processes and how these processes are optimized at EMBO press to be more fair, informed, and efficient within journals and between journals. I will also introduce our new journal-independent peer-review platform- Review Commons.

报告人简介：

Jingyi Hou is a Senior Scientific Editor at EMBO Molecular Medicine and Molecular Systems Biology. Jingyi received her PhD from the Free University Berlin / Max-Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine, where she dissected cis-regulatory mechanisms that control mRNA translation using various mouse models. As a post-doc, she joined the laboratory of Erin O’Shea at the HHMI - Janelia Research Campus in USA, where she focused on the role of RNA methylation in nervous system development and in learning and memory formation. Jingyi joined EMBO press as a Scientific Editor in November 2018.
