Jie Lin's lab is inviting postdoc positions in theoretical biological physics

Applications are invited for two postdoc positions in theoretical biological physics, to work with Prof. Jie Lin in the Center for Quantitative Biology at Peking University in Beijing, China (http://cqb.pku.edu.cn/teacher/index.php/Home/Index/detail_eng?tid=17). Potential research directions include but not limited to (1) coarse-grained modeling of gene expression, (2) active matter and phase separation, (3) microbial population and evolution dynamics, (4) cell size regulation.


Qualifications

 Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in physics, mathematics, or other related fields by the beginning of the postdoc appointment, and those with good knowledge of statistical physics, biophysics, numerical simulations are preferred.


Salary

The positions are expected to be two years long with internationally competitive salaries. An extension of duration is possible depending on satisfactory performance.
