Lab student goes to Les Houches meeting

Huixia Ren attended the “Evolution of diversity” meeting in the Les Houches Physics School, France in February 2018. The meeting facilitates new initiatives in exploration of diversity by using methodologies from physics applied to model systems in biology. Huixia presented the poster “On the oscillation modes and cell type interaction of pancreatic islets” and received many valuable suggestions. Besides the conference, She also improved her skiing skills in the Alps.
