The APS March Meeting 2018 was held on March 5-9 in Los Angeles. The meeting brought together more than 11,000 physicists, scientists, and students from all over the world to share research progess. The conference had 26 branch venues including statistics physics, non-linear physics and biological physics. Prof. Tang gave an invited talk on “Reverse engineering spatial patterns in biology”. Graduate students Zhang Mingyue, Zhang Lu, Shen Jingxiang and postdoctor Zhu Shaoqi attended the meeting. Jingxiang gave an oral presentation, while Mingyue and Lu presented posters.
