The first International Young Scholars Systems and Synthetic Biology Symposium was held from June 23rd to June 25th at the CQB. 27 outstanding worldwide young scholars and about a hundred students and colleagues attended the meeting. Presentations, posters, lively discussions were focused on the advanced hot spots of related fields during the 3 days’ meeting. Cell cycle regulations, gene regulatory networks, dynamics of cell signalling transmission, cell development, new technologies and tools had gained extensive attention and energetic discussions.
