The heme utilization system holds significant weight in numerous microbe-host interaction networks. It is interesting to explore the mechanisms by which microorganisms evade the nutritional restrictions of the host to achieve effective growth and reproduction. I attempt to use mathematical and physical models to investigate the key mechanisms involved.
