Nonribosomal peptide synthetases (NRPSs) are modular synthetic mechanism that produce a wide range of nature products. Current attempts of modifying or combining different modules has yielded to fail or low productivity. Now we are working on the revolution of pseudomonas NRPS genes, try to figure out the potential links between modules.
