Quantitative Biology 2023: AI and Cell Fate (2023.10.14-10.15)
The development of AI in cell fate is a rapidly evolving field that has the potential to transform our understanding of cellular biology. For example, AI algorithms have been used to analyze vast multi-omics and imaging datasets, allowing researchers to identify complex patterns and relationships that would be difficult or impossible to detect using traditional methods. These insights have led to new discoveries in fields like cancer research and regenerative medicine, as well as improvements in the accuracy and speed of drug discovery.
As AI continues to develop, it is likely that we will see even more groundbreaking advancements in our ability to understand and manipulate cellular identity, cellular differentiation, and cellular fate. It will be timely and fruitful for the quantitative biology community to gather together for in-depth discussions on these related topics and future directions. The conference will serve as a platform for experts and deep thinkers from around the world to engage in constructive dialog and promote long-term international collaboration in quantitative biology.
This two-day meeting will present invited talks and posters. With more than twenty experts on AI and cellular fate, we hope that the meeting will help spark ideas and interests among PIs as well as postdocs/students.
