Congrats to Hua, who won a poster prize at the QB2017 conference. She presented her work about the antimicrobial peptide PSI with a poster, which was selected as one of the five excellent posters by an independent evaluation committee.

Prof. Bert de Groot visited our group on 26 June 2017. All of the group members presented their work (in English) and did a great job.

Dr. Shuguang Yuan visited our group and presented his interesting work on “The activation mechanism and drug discovery of G-protein-coupled receptors”. Shuguang is a research scientist in the Swiss drug company “Actelion”.

Had a good (hard) time climbing the Fragrant Hill （香山）.

Prof. Benzhuo LU (Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, CAS) visited our group and gave us a seminar about continuum theories of ion channels.

Chunhong Liu, a CQB graduate student, has joined our group for her rotation project. Welcome!

Welcome Hanyuan Sun and Jiangguo Zhang, two very motivated undergraduate students, to join our group.

Prof. Ren Lai (Kunming Institute of Zoology, CAS) visited our group and gave a very inspiring seminar about antimicrobial peptides today.
